For one person, 100 baht from the airport to Patong, Karon, Kata or Rawai is excellent value. A couple pays 200 baht. Larger families or groups should compare the total bus cost with a private vehicle, especially when carrying several cases or staying far from a stop.
How can you pay?
You do not have to buy a special travel card or download an app for a single journey.

The current operator timetable is marked as effective from 16 January 2026.

- buses from Phuket Airport begin at 08:15;
- the final listed departure from the airport is 23:30;
- buses from Rawai begin at 06:45;
- the final listed departure from Rawai is 19:30.
Do not rely on a copied timetable alone. Check the official Phuket Smart Bus timetable on the day you travel, particularly for an early flight, late arrival or time-sensitive connection.
The operator says times are approximate and can change with traffic.

The timetable allows roughly:

There is a similarly named Android app online, but its own store listing describes it as unofficial. The current operator instructions direct passengers to the browser-based GPS map, and ticket payment is made onboard rather than bought through that app.

It can be, especially for travellers staying close to the route. A single ride costs 100 baht, while the operator also advertises unlimited passes for people making several journeys.
The current Route 1 pass prices are:

For only one or two rides in a day, single fares may cost less. The operator describes the one-day pass as best value for three or more rides.
